i went to the theatre the other night at the century theatre. this is essentially, 15yr old thug and fast/furious hang out. man its ridiculous, ill bring a camera and take pictures because its unbelievable. more fubu than russel simmons closet. but what REALLY got me, was not the line for 'dance-dance revolution' was that iheard atleast 4 kids yell out "G..G..G-UNIT!!!!" throughout the night. come on now........stupid. and there were only like 3 black kids too, so the rest were......... :lol:

I remember there was this white kid that hung out with the black kids in my high school. All of them (including the black kids) were gangsta-thug wannabe's. There was maybe 1 or 2 in the whole school who were actual gangsters. Anyhow, this white kid acted like them, talked like them, tried to be exactly like them. One day, out of the blue, they decided it would be fun for the group of them to pick their white "friend" up off the ground and beat the holy hell out of him. Maybe he dropped the "N" bomb or something thinking they wouldn't mind, I dunno. They were punching and kicking him, and then they just dropped him on the concrete, which broke his leg. He was laying there screaming in agony and all of his "friends" bolted on him and ran to class. I walked up to him and said "Some friends you got there." and then went and got him some help. He continued to hang out with them and try to be like them even after that incident. :rolleyes: That was the early 90's too. I can't even begin to imagine how confused some kids are out there these days. :lol:

That only works with teenage girls. Once you get older all the hot girls like guys with money. All these hot girls from my highschool that used to not even know I'm alive act like I'm all great now that I make good money. I noticed this too. The girls may be hot, but any girl that thinks the wanna be gansta look is cool isn't really worth my time.

When I was a teenager I was in bands, skateboarded, and was into Raves and drugs. I got plenty of ass. Like a different chick every couple weeks. Where there's drugs and alcohol there's ass. Yeah I had a couple close calls back when I was a wreckless teenager. We were skating in this parking garage that we used to hang out in drinking 40s, etc. and these guys were messing with us so we talked lots of ish to them and they came back 10 minutes later with a shotgun. We just ran away. Back when I was in highschool snoop dogg and all that gangsta rap shizz was popular, so there were a lot of stupid fights and people brought guns to school sometimes. 2 of my friends had guns pulled on them in school. One kid got shot and killed in 10th grade, and 2 years later the kid who shot him was released form jail and put back in our school. :confused: One of my best friend's got his face smashed in with a pipe because he took someone's seat at the lunch table.

Highschool is no joke anymore. I gotta admit there were times when I was scared of it all.

But now that I'm older and done with college and stuff I'm never around that nonsense anymore. Even college was a lot more grown up then that. Sure, there were fights, but a fist fight is nothing compared to a gun fight.

You just gotta use common sense and try to stay out of deep trouble. You can do drugs and stuff, but don't get involved in selling it. Another one of my best friends used to sell crack, weed, coke, etc. out of an apartment downtown. One day a group of like 5 or 6 big black dudes came into his apartment and stabbed him a bunch of times in the back, leg and face. Then they stole all his money and drugs. He was in the hospital for a while. After that he stopped selling and bought a big ass gun. He's the drummer in my band.

I'm friends with a bunch of kids who have gotten arrested for selling. My one friend only got a big ass fine, but this other kid I know was gonna get boned with tons of jail time so he stuck a piece of dynamite in his mouth and lit it. It was messed up because I called that kid to see if he wanted to come to my 4th of July party last year. Maybe if I was closer to him I coulda gave him some advice.

Point is: Kenshiro says it's OK to do drugs when you're a teenager, just don't sell them or get physically or mentally dependant on them.

IMO the druggy delinquent image/label was cool. If you're 16 and you have that image, chicks dig it. The kind of chicks that like wholesome drug free guys aren't gonna have sex with them. I went to high school in Orlando too (Longwood exactly) and we had the same deal with these 'race wars' at the end of the school year... Couldn't even wear ball caps or t-shirts to school without worrying about getting jumped/robbed! And let's not get into Nike shoes or the Starter jackets:lol:

i think that area is over exagerated about the crime level. maybe b/c ive spent time in NYC. Ive been there and never had any problems...//i think its just one of those areas where people only get bad publicity but when sumthing good happens, you dont really hear bout it. LIke evans h.s has one of the better prg when it comes to getting college credits..lik i know this chick that when she graduates from evan she will be considered a junior in college with a few others//also they have one of the better football prgms as well//i aint sayin they dont have there bad side over there but what side doesnt//:rolleyes: oz well...now i think sanford is worst then pine hills

I have them for work pants because they were on sale, and they have to be the strongest pants I have even worn, I work in the construction field, and I am always ruining my pants, these things are like 3 times as thick as any others I have ever worn, and will prob. never rip.

alright, sorry i had to.... yeah, i grew up with this stuff too..... around here... all the wanna by punk thugs, are all the kids of the rich parents..... all of them... none of the thugs actually have it rough....maybe 1 or 2..... 99% of them knew that they could screw up and still be set for life cause daddy had a lot of money..... now that ive been outta high school for almost 3 years... most of the people that were "thugs" in high school are actually really nice people now..... most of them... of course there are still the ones that hang out with the high schoolers still, since they are the only ones that think they're still cool....

and yeah, i really do hate the fact that all the girls like the guys that are fake... what the hell.... im goin to see malibu's most wanted and bringin a notebook... screw this.. haha...... just playin.... never would i want to be associated with those people..... haha, even though im already called a poser, because people tihnk i try to be eminem, just cause i happened to be born w/ blue eyes, and blonde hair..... everyone thinks i dyed it to look like him... hrmm... oh well..... No offense d00d, but you're from Northbrook, (IL for those not aware). There are no thugs in Northbrook unless they're imported there for work (e.g. someone has to take out the trash and do the "domestic" work).

yes i still live in northbrook, obviously you've been there... but maybe only to parts.... yes the majority of northbrook is the rich snobs, with all the money etc.... preps, and stuff like that.. its mostly around the outskirts of the town... in the middle of the town, its middle class... my family does not have a ton of money... my parents do not make prolly even half of what most of the people make in the town... you are correct, northbrook is your typical north shore town.... but it has spots that are by no means rich... and i for one do not live in one of those areas... granted, now they are knocking down all the little houses around ours, and building the giant ones..... so in a few years, it will all look the same, but as of right now, my family is by no means rich..... we're comfortable..... i understand what your sayin about northbrook, but not all of the town is like that
