I'm wondering if there's anyone in the bay area who knows of a cheap but good quality body shop. I took my 2.5rs to tahoe this weekend and I hit a patch of ice and spun out into a snow bank. it was a single lane road and I didn't have enough room to recover. it was pretty bad though because I had the sun roof open and hella snow and dirt came inside the car and got all over my girlfriend. she was very upset and wouldn't talk to me for an hour and a half. now I have two big ass dents in the side of my car and the front bumper is slightly lowered. it ruined my whole f*&king day.

I was driving too fast dumb ass mistake!

That sucks. I'll talk to some people tomorrow or Tuesday at Berkeley auto service, they use some pretty good body shops.

Try Euroasia Auto body in San Francisco, they're off Bay Bridge and they handle all insurance work for AA, Statefarm you name it. They're pretty fast and good in repairs. Ask for Harry. Tell them Everett sent you. Good luck.

Mich, I fel for you. I wiped out going up to Tahoe the weekend before last. No damage, but the snowplow driving by filled my seats with snow and mud because he was too lazy to lift his plow. Nailed my wife who was behind the car as well.

Mich,

What color is your car, and what exactly is damaged? Fender, bumper, door? Or rear quarter panel, rear bumper?

I'm thinking we could source some new parts, same color, from wrecking yards. Replacing doors and fenders is easy, as should be bumper mounts. Assuming the frame is still straight.
