I'm thinking of putting these on.
They're 5x100/114.3 40 (18's).
What do you think?

I would think Rubbing might be a problem. mav1c 08-22-2001, 10:42 AM 40mm offset is way too low for a Subaru. You will have fender rubbing, and eventually, premature wheel bearing failure. wop 08-22-2001, 12:11 PM Originally posted by mav1c 40mm offset is way too low for a Subaru. I'm putting on 1.5" and 1" lower springs next week, and I know I will have to roll the fenders. wop 08-22-2001, 01:10 PM Originally posted by TBreu007 I have 18" X 7.5" with 38 offset, 38 WHOA      !!! -wop Kalins1 08-22-2001, 02:43 PM Actually, Enkei makes some of the OEM aluminum rims for Subaru so they know what fits Subaru. Also, some wheel manufacturers measure offset differently than Subaru. I measured my Enkei's that said +40 on them the way Subaru measures wheels and came up with +48. Then I measured the +55 steel wheels that came with my Subaru the way that Enkei measures offset and came up with +47. My advice is to measure your OEM wheels and then measure the ones that you want to buy and compare YOUR measurements. Don't go by what the wheel or car manufacturer says. Sean |
