While you're at it, how about some WRX hubs and brake disks in a 5x114 bolt pattern? All other dimensions stay the same. ![]() ![]() I sure would love some 09 STi wheels to fit on my stock 07 wagon....just sayin' |

2nd that poor customer service from 6gun.
I have one of the very first set of front 05 STi hub sets they made for the 04 w/ the knuckles machined and hub redrilled. I love them, install went easily, and they've been great for years now. (And i got to keep my Tokico D-specs... )But it took me forever to get them. I guess worst case now is if i have to ever replace bearings again in the front, then i have to get someone else to redrill a new set. However, i could just pull my rears and install 5x114 hubs and just use stock ones on the front and run 5x114 wheels on my car. Either way i'm probably fine. +1 For their product. Was a great service. |

can anybody shed some light on how the adapter collars are built? when the time comes, i'm looking to do swap to 5x114.3 hubs instead of replacing my 5x100 hubs. having the knuckle machined down is easy enough to do, but i know nothing about the adapter collars.
if not, a remachined 5x114.3 to 5x100 front hub/knuckle would be the next best thing for me. |

I have been thinking about making a few other parts, and I think I could make these too, it will be January before I have the parts created, but I will keep everyone up to date.
Maybe tom at kart boy can get something done quicker. Last edited by vette dude; 11-03-2009 at 09:20 PM. |

I don't remember off the top of my head the diameter difference. I'll measure it when I get into the shop later. |

ok let me ask this. With the larger hub. Would it fit the stoptech 328mm kit, as the hat I think is larger. So I could just have a machine shop just do the work. I don't know just a thought.

Yes, assuming that the 328mm and 332mm rotor hubs are identical (likely).
I asked Stoptech directly if their rotor would fit over an STI hub and they said yes. In fact, the rotor supplied in the WRX and STI kits is identical, with the rotor hub dual-drilled from the factory (at least on the 332mm kit). |

So, ~14mm is about .55118 inches. It's been a while since I had my rotors off the car, but I could have sworn that an additional quarter inch could have been added to each side of the hub of a WRX without conflicting with anything. But this may not be the case. I have to rotate tires this weekend so I'll take some pics and measurements (just for my own sanity)....it'll be nice to verify if something like this is plausible. |

yeah, crap service. sure. Crap parts? heck no. live savers. What other options do us 04 STi owners have besides continuously replacing our bearings with more crappy ones...?
