Is it just a 207 bottom end (block) or do you have the whole long block (bottom end + heads)? If you are running a 207 block with 205 heads, you'll have no issues, put the cams in. If you are running a full 207 block with JDM ecu, you need cams specific for those heads. The 207 heads are different from the 205 and have different cams. You will most likely need Stage 3 cams designed and ground for your application. If you do have 207 heads, you can try just deleting the AVCS, but that is kind of dumb, since AVCS is one of the most attractive features of those heads. If you do delete the AVCS, you'll still need cams designed for the 207 as the 207 cams have a longer duration and a different lift from cams designed for use in a USDM model.
