Default Clutch "chatter" and noises

I dont know technical terms or technically how to explain it. Ill try my best.

My clutch is aftermarket, dont know what it is, owner didnt know.
But when im at a stop, or close too and start to ease off the clutch a in first gear and give it some throttle and just towards the end of letting out the clutch my car shakes and i expirience very loud chatter in pulses almost. But when i do this at a higher rpm closer to 3.5 or 4 it doesnt do it nearly as much and as hard. Sometimes i can get it to hardly make noise and shake at all, sometimes its just down right horrific.
I have been told it has to do with uneven surfaces or metal pieces on the surfaces of....the flywheel? idk. does any of this make sense? If it does can it be fixed? or would i be best just finding a stock clutch system or used aftermarket one.

thanks.

Sounds like a heavy high horsepower clutch. They tend to do all that. You need more rpms and quicker slipping to get them to not chatter. It could be what you said though or a mixture of both.

Same problem, i have stage 3 spec clutch and stock flywheel and i get the same things, first gear on hills and second, horrible chatter that seems liek the car will shake apart. its just a very high horsepower clutch and need higher RPMS and it fixes the problem

i'm having the EXACT same issue. after troubleshooting and thinking a lot, i have come to the same conclusion. The PO of the car claims it has a "stage 3" clutch on it, but that could mean a number of things. I cannot get the car to start off from a straight foward dead stop to save my life. the car shakes and chatters as if it were falling apart, and the front wheels feel like they are trying to break loose. I plan on getting a OEM clutch and installing it. when i get around to it, i'll be sure to reply.

i have the same problem with my 4 puck ceramic disc and stock pp setup. i thought this only happened to me for some reason but now i feel better that i'm not the only one.... no offense but i finally found a thread that answers my question.

so do we just deal with this chatter/ horrible shaking? can it affect other parts down the road if we deal with it???
