Default wrx hybrid motor help

i was working on my 2.5 hybird and almost have everything done. there is however a extra part on my block that im not sure if its a breather or something for coolant. here are some picture can anyone tell me what this is for so i can finish this project.

Thanks, do you happen to know what coolant hose that I would tee off to send coolant to it?

It could be the PCV valve or the coolent line to the turbo. Looks like you have the PCV install... where is that next to right near where the block split?

Edit, that looks like the exhaust for the coolant/oil from the turbo. I'll check when I get home.

the STI block has an extra breather on the block near the pcv breather. I think thats what that is. most just block it off.

WRONG! Dude you gonna make the guy blow his car up. That's an extra PCV breather port. The 2.5L has two whereas the EJ205 has one. Just cap it off. Don't use those cheapo vac caps from the autostore. Get the right sized heater hose, a short bolt, and worm clamp the bolt in the hose itself.

Hey now, I covered it up a few posts down. I said I was unsure what it was and that I would look into it when I arrived home. Besides that its been a long freaking week.

It's cool....just that others may read this, not check back for your update, and do it. That would end very badly.
