Help with 09 2.5

Okay so I have a 09 Impreza 2.5 and I am wanting to put some larger wheels on it. Specifically either 17x8.5 or 17x9s on it. Anyone have a 2.5 that they have done this with? If so is there anything you had to do to the fenders or wheel wells to get them to fit?

I have OEM 2009 legacy gt 17'' wheels and they do not rub.
