Update 07/11/2009 Part 2:

Went to see the progress of the engine bay. There has been a very light coat of primer put on to see if there is any high point blemishes ect that need to be sanded down. Dan and Manni have done an absolute magic job so far and have done it in a organised and professional manner.

The bay should be painted mid week and then left for a few days for the paint to settle then sanded back and another clear coat put on for that glass coat finish. In the meantime the custom hardlines for the ABS and fuel system will be done.

Interior trims + Carbon fibre wrap =

Vince from www.vkinnovations.ca is going to be covering all this work and has great carbon skills as shown by some of waynoSTIs carbon interior peices.

This will be the final touch to my interior and will set off the alcalantra perfectly. Once i get the peices sent back ill post up the peices.

D wayno had his centre fascia done and door handle trims and switches for power steering plastic surround done.

I'm going a bit over the top but basically every plastic trim in the car will be either covered in carbon or alcalantra.

Here are some pics from Tony with the complete engine assembled (I sent everything to him off my old engine alternator, PS pump fuel lines rails injectors etc etc) on an engine stand, he is just finishing off re-routing my air/oil separator and removing the rubber lines for braided counterparts.

Engine will be sent tomorrow.

I really like that turbo placement. I'm curious to what this thing is going to sound like.

DAMM that looks awesome! What coating is that on the pipes? You won't be able to wrap the door jam pieces Tino because they will crack when you put them on! The carbon it very brittle! So don't bother sending that stuff! I already tried to do that! LOL! Your went all out!

wayno yeh I sent the door jam pieces to him. He's starting on them also. Just have to be very careful with them then. If he preps it properly then it should be fine once there snapped into place. Can onlytry I suppose. Haha
