Awful. Products do not work as advertised. Poorly made products with little or no engineering put into the products. Many cases where a product (however shoddy) was never delivered after a deposit or full payment was made.

Rick Rimmer still owes me and other I-club members money.

Caveat Emptor!

rb5 - that's pretty much what this forum is for. Let people know about vendors to avoid or to purchase from.

I am trying to organize all the names and addresses of people who have been ripped off by Rick Rimmer... I have contacted www.callforaction.org, they are looking into sueing Rick Rimmer/Rimmer Performance Systems. They beleive that I have a strong case. If there is anybody out there with a similiar issue, paid for and not received the merchandise, please contact me at harleysonnenschein@hotmail.com...
They are contacting the Colorado Attorney General as I type this message.
Please contact me with any info about anyone you know who have been scammed.

Umm, I was under the impression that Rimmer went bankrupt.

Good luck though.

Sorry to hear that you had problems with him. I was in Colorado a few years ago and I had a 97' Neon ACR, he talked about using my car for a prototype for a Super-charger. He wanted me to leave the car in his shop for a month so he could fabricate a kit. Man, I glad I didn't do that.

Rimmer Performance Systems Inc still has the web site up and running, the phone numbers have been disconnected, and he is still personally liable. Incorporated or not according to the law. Even though he is Incorporated, which means that he should not be liable, he is.. Why? because I checked the Colorado Corporation Help Line and they have informed me that he is still 100% liable because #1, he is the only and thus the primary shareholder, liablity only works when it's a huge corporation so that you can't blame 10,000 people! #2, he has commited mail fraud which is punishable with jail time. My lawyer here in Ottawa says that I have a very strong case here in Canada, plus I could sue him again in Colorado, according to NAFTA. NAFTA makes trade easier, thus making fraud easier, thus the law was adapted for scammers like Rick...

I would do some searches around the board. Quite a few people have been scammed / screwed over by Rimmer. We know he blows or sucks, depending on how you look @ it.... :D

Sweet I was going to head somthing like this up but since you already got the ball rolling. Rick owe's me about $1500 for a job he never did and I STILL have the check he wrote me that NEVER CLEARED!!

I also live less than 5 miles from HIS HOUSE in the springs and I know of his current where-abouts on a daily basis. So I can personally see him and see if and how he will be taking this news/lawsuit/class-action suit =).

I will also email you.

We first encountered this him over 18 months ago , he turned up at our door and said he wanted to represent our products into the USA .

We eventually struck up a deal and supplied him various parts .
He still owes us £910.00.

If you get this going I am in.

Well, I think Rick is pretty well screwed.

We had Rick ( actually Nathan and Brandon) Help us design two Honda Kits one on a 99 SOHC civic and one on a 00 DOHC civic SI.

Here is were the long story begins.

The first kit the 99 SOHC was in the drawing board and we delivered a car to him and didn't know much about hin then... unti'l abouit a week later when I started asking around and telling people about this new SC kit.

It scared the $#%# out of me because we had gave him a brand new car and $1,500.00.

Anyway he had a deadline of five weeks because we needed the car for the SEMA show. To my surprise the car actually was completed and was driven from Co springs to Vegas. Were we meet up with him again.

It was a hit at Vegas and the car was driven home with no problems, so I sent him a new 00 Civic Si for the next project. It took him about 7 weeks to finish that kit and I personally flew out from Wisconson to Coldorado and drove the car home. Again lots of power and no problems.

A year passed and we got very busey and halted the SC project unti'l winter.

Last November as I was at the SEMA show disgusing wheel priceing with Rota for you Suabru owner I saw Brandon ( One of ricks engineers) I was liek ***!? What are you doing in that booth? Were is Rick?

He then told me both him and Nathan quit because the RPS was juts a mess and getting no were, and there was bill collectors calling day after day...

Nathan and Brandon were Ricks only two employees and did all of the wrenching and R&D. They had both left and started up a new company building SC kits for Mecedes!

I was also told that there are no future for rick and he will be closing his doors very soon.
