After waiting for months to receive my 18mm rear swaybar from JC Sports (never ever again will I orer from them), I let the bar sit in my garage for a few weeks, uninspired to install the bar. Finally I took the 30 minutes to install the bar.

I have yet to REALLY push the car (Hurricane Floyd), but it seems to really help keep the rear of the car flatter when entering a turn, and initial turn-in response is much better. Still wish I could have gone with a 20mm bar, but this is still much better.

Now I am looking at possibly getting some Eibachs and AGX shocks for the car. Anyone running this combo on their 2.5GT? I am still waiting to hear from Mike Shields on availability.

Yes, the 18mm bar works best when you push it. I was amazed by the totally neutral feel of the car during hard cornering. I think my next step will be upgrading the re-92 tires. I have a friend looking into an bilstein/h&r combo for suspension.

I already have 17" Team Loco wheels with some 215/45/17 P7000 Supersport tires, so with the bar I saw a huge difference. It's nice out today, so I will try to really see how the car feels later.

Get new tires, the RE92's are insulting.
