the wrx may not be the prettiest car when you first see it, but when you are given the specs, the car is just awesome. i drove by the mall and i can hear people say "look its a wrx." and i hear this from guys that look like domestic guys. i also heard a kid say" theres my car!" man this car gets respect from the import and domestic crowd, can't wait till i break in my car!

around here (I live in a small town) ALL...and I mean ALL the mustang guys stare at my car. Other people could give a rats ass about it...but its amazing...I was at a 4 way stop sign...and this mustang guy who I had seen before just was staring at my car. Didn't move didn't do anything...I thought it was really funny.

I was behind a mustang once ... and you could see the driver pointing out the car to the people in his ride. They all just turned around and looked at it. ahhh...

This town sucks though...I swear everyone between 18 - 25 owns a mustang...and not any good ones either ... like the crappy ones before they went to the new body style.

What also surprises me...I still have yet to have a subaru owner even reconize my car :(

i used to have the only rex in my area, and everyone would check out my car all the time. i got countless compliments on it.

yeah, it's fun. yesterday just drove by a bus stop, a bunch of youngsters were shouting out "Oh, s*it, it's a WRX, IT'S A WAGON!!!" "NICE CAR~"
i gave them a V :D

I can honestly say that 80% of the time I go out, I end up talking about my car with a complete stranger and I'm not exaggerating. It is rare and it is new to them, plus mine looks that much different from other WRXs!!:D I love that warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you see people gathered around your car from a distance.

Agreed- it's the only car I've ever owned where I've been *chased* through parking lots so that people can check it out and ask questions about it! Current personal best is 2 inquiries in the same day! Cool! :D
