Looking at logs from my AP Sg 2 93oct today, seems im getting a constant -5 to -2% on the long term fuel and for the most part on CL around 3-8 on the IGN advance. Curious if thats good cause to maybe bump up the IGN base map a deg or two. Ill wait till my DAM goes back up to 16 from my last reset but if this stays constant maybe this is a good que i can add a tiny bit more advance in the map. With the -5 to -2% on the long term fuel and mostly neg on the short term im thinking it could use a few points removed from that as well, but i figure its not enough to warrent a change given it could all be in the gas.
Next question is how exactly target boost is reached. In the maps it seems cobb is shooting for about 17 to 18PSI max but all im seeing is 15.18PSI max on my log. I thought i was hitting higher a few days ago on my guage but i haven't really payed that much attention. When the ECU is trying to target boost is it going from the readings after the IC or before, and what else could effect the target values that are actually being reached. I'd like to get a bigger TMIC and maybe shoot for around 19PSI-20PSI tops at the outlet at some point, but im just curious exactly how the maps are working.
And as far as EGT's are looking, ive got an guage on the numb in the driver side mani, im seeing around 1650 under WOT on the highway and around 1400-1500 crusing. Not really sure if this is normal or not.
And one last questions, im considering getting an LC-1 or LM-1 WB setup and i keep hearing the sensors are not designed for longterm use, so do most just use it while tuning and then take the sensor out, or are people using the LC-1 with guage setup to monitor AFR's all the time?
I've got log's as well if anyone would like to give their inputs to a tuining newb.
-edit- should note that this doesn't belong in the AP/ST forum i dont think as im using OpenECU tools to doing the map editing, not StreetTuner.
