BlkWRXWag 05-23-2006, 05:05 PM I ran 17x8.5 (+48), but my fenders were rolled. tomswrxwgn 05-23-2006, 05:21 PM I Had 18x8 On A Wagon With No Fender Rolling.+50 Offset And 225 Tires. WgnWheel 05-23-2006, 05:36 PM 17x8 rpf1's +45 with rear fenders rolled. scubywgn 05-23-2006, 05:57 PM yeah thats what i kinda figured that i have to roll the rear cooleyjb 05-23-2006, 06:06 PM 17x8 on a stock suspension wagon unrolled. The catch is tire width. 215/45. Much wider than that and you get rubbin. Jim Lewis 05-23-2006, 06:56 PM 17 x 8, 46mm, with STI RE070s, very light rubbing in the rear, until I got my coilovers - actually sits lower than with springs, but with the spring rate, won't rub... chudlo 05-23-2006, 07:52 PM I ran 17x8.5 (+48), but my fenders were rolled. Holy Crap, Batman! More details please. Wheel? (I am guessing Rota by the offset) Tire brand and size? Suspension? And how close is the tire to the fender where it is rolled? I never thought that 8.5" wide rims would fit. I am guessing also that you race/auto-x? How do you like the setup? dbrier 05-23-2006, 08:14 PM The catch is tire width. 215/45. Much wider than that and you get rubbin. Everyone seems to miss this point. The Wheels don't rub, it is the TIRES! Offset and tire size are the big concerns... seth_man 05-24-2006, 06:11 AM 18x8 +48 here with 225/40 kuhmo MX. yeah the fenders are rolled. |
