The Supreleggera and Ultraleggera are not that much different. Personally I like the Ultraleggera better

Every tenth of a second counts. Introducing TRAKLITE - our latest high performance wheel. Because it’s a one-piece forged wheel, TRAKLITE wheels are stronger and lighter than cast wheels. They immediately improve handling, braking distance and, most importantly, acceleration. Less un-sprung weight helps you get off the line quicker, so you can stop spinning your wheels and start racing them. The TRAKLITE is available in flat black, gun metal, and gun metal machined lip in 15” and 17” sizes.
Yes. Stop spinning your wheels and start racing them!

Thank you!

I was going to mention this, because its the only Motegi wheel I would have debated purchasing for myself.

Its also a forged wheel, so its 14lbs and strong.

So are SSR Comps, but that doesn't mean people don't bend them.

I didn't say that they were "unbendable" ;) , simply that they're lightweight and strong.

Any rim can be bent or cracked, if you apply pressure the right way.

Forged, lightweight wheels for half the price of the SSR comps. Granted the SSR comps are one of my favorite wheels, and I'd be on them instead of RPF1's if they weren't so dang expensive.

In all honesty the Superlegerra was the best looking and best compromise on cost/weight you guys had and I was all set on some. The Ultralegerras are different enough for me to go from wanting a set of Superleggeras for my STI to looking elsewhere, aside from the fact you only have an 18" version, which I don't want, where the Superleggera fit in a 17". Maybe I'm weird and the majority of your customers want to roll on some blingin' dubs with spokes that look more like they belong in a Salad Shooter than joining a rim onto a hub. :p

They're OK. I have certainly seen uglier wheels than the Ultraleggera, but they're uglier than the Superleggeras by a long shot IMO. The super-thin spokes that extend onto the lip just don't do it for me. I've seen plenty of on-car shots of Superleggeras that look great, the Ultras are pretty "meh" if you ask me. You may like them, but plenty of others agree with me, but I guess if you're selling them, you're selling them.

The Motegi Traklites look very promising. Too bad not too many run them so they can build a good rep.

I also think Superleggeras look better than the Ultralegerras. I just wish they weren't so weak (relatively). You have to sacrifice some strength for weight on a cast application.
