Salt Lake City, Utah – May 24, 2006 – COBB's popular StreetTUNER software, used to allow end-users the ability to custom tune their AccessPORT-enabled ECU, has been drastically reduced in price. The new price is $195 for all current Subaru applications. The price reduction comes as a direct response to increased consumer demand.

While the price has been reduced, the superb functionality and support remain the same as ever. Featuring the unique Realtime tuning capability, datalogging and live tracing all within a robust interface, the StreetTUNER software represents by far the most widely used full-suite tuning software available for Subaru vehicles.

Those who have already purchased StreetTUNER at the original price will be eligible for a free upgrade to the Advanced StreetTUNER version that will be available before the end of the year. The Advanced StreetTUNER version will provide end-users with Professional level access to ECU data along with a revised GUI and many new features and advances never before offered for the Subaru ECU.

Every StreetTUNER license comes with complete technical support, access to multiple base maps to start from, tuning guides and a network of professional tuners willing and capable of providing training and input. In addition, our full-time development staff works hard to impliment user suggestions and other fixes in order to keep the software fresh and evolving. An auto-update feature is standard in every version sold, downloading the latest revisions as they become available.

Thats Awesome!!!

If I got the StreetTuner software now, will I be able to update to the Advanced StreetTuner software for a reduced price or free when it comes out? Or will I have to buy it as completly different entity?

I think they want to know what happens if you were to buy StreetTuner right now.. at the new low price, would you then have an upgrade option the the Advanced version?

Well crap, that is actually a pretty good question. Shame on my reading comprehension skills!

I'm willing to bet though, in order to placate all the customers that paid full price for StreetTUNER, the "upgrade" from new-lower-priced StreetTUNER to AdvancedStreetTUNER will be approximately the same as the difference bewteen OldStreetTUNER and NewSteetTUNER...just a guess though.
