we will see alot of OZ Racing wheels at this weekends Indy 500


27 of the 33 cars will be running on OZ Racing wheels.


Here is a list of the drivers using OZ.

An interesting side note is that the entire field of the Indy Pro Series (Jr series for the IRL) is competing on OZ Racing wheels as well.

Is this surprising to you Luke? I'm confused with the reasoning behind the post myself....

When there's not much of a selection of wheel manufacturers that want to meet a certain spec, I find it hardly 'interesting'.

AKA: Big whoop. :)

Many of them will also have some kind of Sparco product.

Hmm, give me the break down of the F1 field. I think thats all OZ or BBS too.

It's a pity the ones that we get aren't of the same specification, I got a set of superleggs that was damaged and had to return them :(

I'm pretty sure they're still supplying Mclaren. Also, Red Bull and Toro Rosso use Avus wheels.

I actually find it interesting since it wasn't long ago that BBS was almost 100% exclusive to Indy car and Champ car racing ....
