Hello everyone,
I'd appreciate any help you guys can offer on this, i've tried searching the forums regarding idle issues with no luck.
I've just completed swapping in the whole 2.5 wiring system into my ej18 so the setup is as close to stock as we could get it, including the airbox and tubes, the car runs and starts fine.
No major issues when running, except the car idles at 1500rpm, its a very smooth, stable idle but its just really high. Also i am not sure if this is a direct result of it, but if i were to abrubtly floor the throttle it seems that there is too much air rushing in and the motor acts like its going to stall before the rpm picks up again.
I am using the stock air intake, the hoses and everything so i'm not quite sure if its something to do with that. I'm thinking it could be a sensor.
again this is a direct ej25 swap with all the components from the donor car, any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance guys.
