I was wondering if the TXS FMIC can handle all the GT65 can throw at it. Im building my block and heads and gonna go with a hydra + hydramist to get max hp/tq.

Isn't OP asking about an FMIC? I think you can clock the compressor housing to accomodate different pipe routes.

From your other posts, I thought you didn't want to go rotated :D

If I were to go rotated, I'd definitely get that setup. Spools fast for a 65lb turbo, and is FAST AS HELL. I've ridden in two cars with this setup, both times scared me.

To answer your question, yes you should be fine.

Wow you are all over the place on what turbo you want.. First it's a GT65, then a SZ49, what's it going to be next? 20G? :). Good luck on your decision.

LOL guys sorry. Sometimes i just wanna build an all around car something with a 3" green and work on suspension and other stuff. Then sometimes i just think lets go all out and build the engine and heads up and go with a monster turbo.

Haha...Sounds like me!!!

I can't tell you how important it is to have an all around car. Even if all you care about is speed, a Element GT65 kit doesn't belong on a stock suspension/brakes. I've been in a car with near stock suspension and brakes and that turbo, and I thought it was scary.

It is very satisfying having a car that does a little of everything. It's funny, I post in the 2.5l forum more than the 2.0 forum even though I haven't put my 2.5l in yet! However, if I'm to build a 2.5l, I need to think like the 2.5l owners which is why I'm always here.

My suggestion is to do mods that fit either turbo. Do your suspension mods, brake mods, power mods that fit both setups. Then do power mods that will work for both. If you have the fuel system, exhaust, and em to support a bolt-on, try a Green. I'd get a 2.4" though so you don't have to dump money in TGV deletes and a 3"inlet. If you like it, keep it. If you feel the need for more power, you're only out the cost of the Green minus what you can sell it for (which they are so common, re-sell is easy).

If you spent money and time doing just bolt-on mods that will support both, including suspension and brakes, that will give you time to ride in different cars too. I've ridden in GT65 cars, and I personally felt it was faster than what I needed.

I spent money on a TMIC and an equal length header that sort of limits me to a bolt-on turbo. Luckily, my goals are within a 3" Green, so it worked out for me.
