So ... I've posted about this before so I apologize but I'm running into a problem with this install.

My problem is the evap hoses. TXS supplies a length of hose and a "T" fitting to replace the metal hoses that normally have a spot screwed into the stock IC. My question is how did you get that hose into the driver side valve cover. There is SO much CRAP in the way I have no idea how you would even get at it. Maybe remove the emissions air pump?

Also does anyone have a picture of one installed, I'm trying to figure out how the bracket adapters go on to bolt the thing down.

I know this thing is supposed to be simple but its giving me some issues.

^^ Some aftermarket TMIC kits utilize the stock PCV system. I wish this kit did that, If you don't use the hose the metal PCV just bangs around.

I say forget the TMIC....switch to FMIC....trade me your stock SGM hood with scoop for my stock SGM 2.5i hood, and you can have that "sleeper" look! :D Good luck on install!

^^ Thanks, I've actually considered it, I'm just to broke to afford a FMIC so I'm gonna stick with the TMIC for now at least.

*Bump*

its as simple as, if you dont need fmic, why go with it ?
unless youre goin with a much bigger turbo..
so my opinion is stay with tmic
