Forget Burns. Root for Lovell and Scheible.

Oh, wait a minute. They already both clinched their classes.

That would be awsome if we got Tommi or Colin. Colin never should have left.

Pug is rumored to be coming to this country in 2-4 years. :) But by then, Burns could be with Subaru or *gasp* Mitsubishi.

Damn, the next few weeks are going to be interesting :)

Well, I'm glad for Burns. If he feels it is the right thing to do, then so be it. He gave us a few good shots at another World Champion for Subaru, but the cards just didn't fall perfectly for him or the team(although the year isn't over just yet ;). Best of luck to him next year.

As for Tommi, I like him but just can't see him in a Sube. There has been some talk of him possibly wanting to take some time off, and the half-season assult planned for Citroen next year may match that perfectly...but then no chance of of a world title

I would absolutely love to see Colin come back as he is and always will be "Mr. Subaru" to many of us. He has alot of years left and I think he could make quite a career here, but his loyalty towards Malcolm Wilson and Ford *seems* fairly strong. Not to mention his relationship with Prodrive was not always a smooth road.

Wonder where Petter and Marko are going to fit into all of this, and who is going to be Mitsu's top guy, and who will be #1 at Pug, and.....

Quite exciting, don't you think? :)

Personally, even though he's old I would LOVE Sainz to be driven the subies. He's just as fast as anyone, has won just as much as anyone. This year he is getting SCREWED royally by Ford. Whenever he is about to pass Colin something happens to his car.

Subie Sainz baybee

Sainz is getting set for retirement. One of the reasons he went with Ford was they promissed him a role after he stops driving.

I give him one more season.

I really believe Makinen will drive for Subaru next year. I think the Citroen stories are just a barganing thing to get what he wants from Subaru.

Of course i could be wrong.

How's about this, Alister McRae for Mitsubishi and Mark Higgins for Hyundai?

For me I think Tommi could be a perfect for Subaru. But for him I think the thing will be. Does he feel he can win with the Subaru.
If he does he'll come here so to speak.
And if he does it give Subaru a pretty good driver's lineup. With him, Peter, and Marko.
The vet and the two up and comers. his just my guest. For whatever it's worth.

Yeah, that Detroit bankroll inspires great loyalty.

Not that I blame him.
