View Full Version : Greddy E-Manage computer

Went with a friend to get his installed in his Sil-80. At first I thought he was wasting his time since when it first came out it had some issues that needed to be fixed. So he held onto his for a couple months and now that Greddy sent out the software fix he wanted it installed. For $300 US this thing kicks ass! It allowed him to swap out his old air flow sensor for a larger unit from another car and after a quick setup of the baseline maps the car was up and running perfectly. After the shop was done dyno tuning it we took it out and that thing is one hell of a deal at that price! Dead on match with a FCON V Pro and the other computers out there. Only difference is it cost a fraction of what they do. Now to figure out how to hook one up to my car.

Where did your buddy get the Greddy E-manage? I really want one for me 240 but I haven't been able to find any info since Greddy took it off their webpage, and at $300 I'm ready to get one tomorrow.

Thanks,

Mark

$300 is a steal. Is the greddy e-manage system a stand alone engine management?

I know at $300 that's an incredible price, that's why I want to know where he got it.

At takakairi that have it for $309 but that's without the software and without the wiring harness.

You can put the website through altavista's translator, but basically the emanage system comes between apexi's S-AFC and the FCON. Not quite engine management but a lot more than what the AFC offers.

It works the same as a FCON setup. Its a piggyback system so that your warning lights and electrical system still work but the E-Manage is the only thing controlling the engine. My friend got his from a local shop when it first came out a couple months ago. If you have a shop who can dyno tune it then its damn impressive. Your car will run good with the baseline maps but like everything else its all in the tuning. They say they sell them for the EJ20 motor.

So far they are only listed for the GC8 EJ20 Imprezas.

Can your friend give you the name of the shop, and a number? I've been keeping my eye on this system for awhile and have never seen it for less than $450 with the software, and $309 w/o the software which really does me no good. Also it doesn't control the engine, it only controls the fuel map but it improves on the standard Air Fuel Controller because it takes the engine sensors into account and actually adjusts (according to the Greddy site.) As apposed to the S-AFC which uses the same map no matter what the engine throws back at it.

Is this going to be something that we poor sods with 99RS's and terminal MAF failures are going to be able to use? Can we use it to replace our MAF with a MAP sensor?

Can you please get back to me about where your friend got the e-manage system? I really want to get the system but I can so far only get the actual unit with no software. I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks

I just contacted Greddy USA (http://www.greddy.com/contactus/) and they said they only have the unit. They are waiting for the engine harness and software for the unit. The complete package will be out in a couple of months or maybe sooner.

Sorry for the delay but I don't hang out here much anymore. He got his setup from a shop called Clipping Point in Rokohnohe (something like that) they have no website. If you can wait I will eventually get their phone number for you. I am in the middle of doing my JCI inspection on my car so I have to get it street legal again first.

You can try some of the links I put in the vendor reviews section and some of the phone numbers. Otherwise you can try these guys www.joule-su.co.jp www.qs-option.co.jp www.garage-active.net to see what they can get you. I listed about 15 places where you can find parts in the vendor review section. I even listed the prices on some new/used parts that they currently had.
