wondering what the resistance values are supposed to be on the factory V4 coil.

if someone has the values from subaru, or can test theirs it would be of great help.

I'm pulling 23 ohms across the terminal posts which seams rather high

and 1.2 across the primary windings (far left and far right wires on the clip for the coil) which seams normal.

thinking this is what's causing my missfire as when i test my plug wires with an inductive pick up I show about a 1000 rpm difference between cyl 1,2 & 3,4

I have a coil from a 2.5rs and a 1.8 they both show around 13 ohms across the posts.

Also if anyone knows if I can just swap over a 1.8 coil onto the V4 motor?

98 DOHC coilpack is the same. Have you checked your igniter ? As well the cam timing ?
