i have a ver 6 ej207 going into an rs and am planning on ecutek.
anybody for see problems or possibilty of weakend performance

you will need to have some wiring harness work done.
be prepared to deal with fuel pump control issues.
and whoever does your harness make sure that they
leave in the factory "green" test contectors.
