I know its been asked a million times but it never seems to get answered and its probably becuase most people are asking for a full step by step set of instructions.
Could someone who has done it before please just give the broad order of what to do.
Like,
Remove wiring
Remove stock engine and tranny
wiring
blah
put in new engine and tranny
plug in wiring
blah
blah
If your willing to do more detail it would be awesome, i'm just looking for something general. It shouldn't take more then a minute or two for a nice person to do this for me :D

First is make sure you have the wiring diagrams for both cars and the diagnostic section can be really handy later.
Then make sure you have all the tools and parts you will need. Do a check list.
If you are upgrading suspension and brakes as part of the swap do them first.
I woud do all the mechanical aspects of the swap first.
When doing the wiring prep the swap harness by lableing everything, leave plenty of extra lenth when you cut a wire. Only cut the wire when you have traced it back to it's source and can confirm it's the correct wire. Solder the wires for a cleaner look and less chance of problems. Have a multimeter and know how to use it.
Okay not quite a step by step just advice.
The main thing is go in with a plan and as much knowledge as possible so read through this forum and study the wiring diagrams.

the fun stuff is finding all the brackets and parts to make the swap work. Time consuming, there's a great write-up about a ver. 7 swap into a gc chassis, I don't have time to do a serch for you. but it's a good list of what to do.
