yeah im really into techno and trance but my girlfriend likes rock so could be something to take her out to possibly. Hook me up with a cd if you can Hope, to show me what they play.

Brian you watch that movie with "The Rock" called The Scorpion King. Or have you played Prince of Persia The Warrior Within? Godsmack is their featured theme music.

My friend Chris and I would go all the time. He was a small guy so we could body surf him around. People got hurt in there though because of someone in school didn't like you, well they looked for you in the pit lol. Lots of fun then but not my thing now. Put me in a group of screaming yelling tight packed people and I'll just be wanting to get the hell out.

I have seen the scorpion king movie however do not remember the song played in their. And no I have not played Prince of Persia. I have played alot of Halo if they are in their, along with other various games.

Godsmack did the music video and their song played during the credits. But the song did not play during the movie itself.

lol. no, since he's so tall, people just look for him to smack into or hit... i'm much smaller and can squeeze through the crowds easier. plus, i'm a chick, so if some dude tries to hit me or gets pissed, there's usually some other big guy that beats him down for the attempt. :lol: mosh pits are just fun, but better at larger concerts. plus, i saw them when they were up last and it was awesome!

someone threw a water bottle up onto stage and hit sully (the lead singer) in the head. so he stopped everything (so you knew it was live and not a recording like some bands do) and he says he's stopping the concert if people were gonna thros sh** at him. so next thing you know, everyone's pointing at the guy who threw it and well... let's just say the concert continued and that guy was probably feeling pretty bad afterwards.

going to a concert such as this REQUIRES at least one or two songs in the mosh pit to get the full concert experience. :lol: however, since i'm still not recovered from being sick (and probably won't for another month or two) i don't plan to be insane and go body surfing... (although that is a lot of fun too).

I agree with you there, same for me and 36 Crazyfists concerts :banana: (when there up here). I'm a retired mosher but am willing to make a comeback tour for the right band :devil: .

Nope, we stood on the edge of one of the mosh pits for a bit of it. Other then getting shoved a bit by people trying to move forward or out every now and then, no problems. Were we stood was pretty peaceful overall. If I was a lot stronger I'd have put her up on my shoulders but yeah... I'm not that strong. :(

it was a good concert. it'd have been a GREAT concert if i'd had been able to get into the moshpit... i was slowly slowly making my way over to it... song by song.... but only managed to get on the outskirts of it before phil stopped me. :( i was ITCHING to get in the pit, but then he kept holding me down with his hand on my shoulder or moving me when someone did end up crashing into the 2 girls beside me.... the whole time i kept thinking "i could be in THERE!!!!!" but no. *sniff*

they are fun. not as active a floor as i'd have thought though. the first GS concert a few yrs ago, when they came out on stage, everyone rushed to the floor, the whole thing became a moving and swaying pit.. was FUN! of course, that's when we were allowed to have alcohol on the floor itself, only 21 and over. ever since (can't remember the country singer) country guy's concert and they had a drunken brawl on the floor, no more alchy on the floor, just on the 2nd level wet side and now all ages on the floor itself.
