So, i got my EGT and boost gauge all wired up and installed this weekend. The boost gauge looks fine. The 12v power wire from the egt probe was spliced into the batt on the clock wiring harness. When i turn my lights on, the egt gauge turns off and goes back to the default position. But when i turn them off, it turns on and works fine. Also, the egt still reads when the car is off? Did i wire it to the wrong one? It also seems to me that the lights on the gauges are dim. I wired the 12v power wire for the allumination to the "light" wire on the clock harness. Is this correct? Any help would be good.

deeeeeeewwwwwwwwd....for the lights on the gauge-----ya GOTTA-GOTTA-GOTTA run 2 seperate power sources 'cuz subaru uses a switched ground system(to confuzzle n00bs).....the spare plug on the radio harness---usually taped over with black electrical tape---2 pins/polarity is unimportant---- is DIMMED!!!!1  ----use THAT for the gauge light circuit......pull power for the gauge function off the cig ligher
