I have up for sale the 2.5L shortblock out of my 2004 STi. The block has 22,000 miles on it. A compression check was done at Dent Sport Garage and came back 90 120 140 140. We are pretty sure the rings need replacement. A Axis Stage 2 block is being installed next week so the Short Block will be available Monday June 19th and can be picked up at DSG in Norwood, MA. Asking price is $500. Here is a great chance to get a rebuildable shortblock CHEAP!!

I heard these guys do TOP Notch work and are very reasonable on price. I have heard nothing but great things about there builds with excellent quality control. Feel free to contact them for a price quote:

how much would it cost to rebuild?

It would all depend on what you were looking to do. Dont let this deal pass up perfect to build new short block while having no down time!
