:confused: I was wondering if any one has any insight on how to remove the harmonic balancer off of my 04 sti. Is the anyway to lock it up so I can turn the bolt? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. TYIA

.....6th gear and have a buddy stand on the brakes....LONG---think 24" breaker bar.

do NOT bork this procedure....!!!!!!!!!....DO use a 1/2 drive breaker bar and a 6pt socket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What Scotty said. Or you can put the car into 5th or 6th gear and that will hold it so you can do it solo. And your car doesn't have a harmonic balancer.....it's just a pulley. ;)
