View Full Version : MadDad(TM) JDM Twin Scroll Header

We've had a number of inquires over the past year about offering an equal length header. Over the next number of months we're bringing a project together that will require us to have a matching twin scroll uppipe/header to support it, so we're doing the deed by bringout out an equal length header and matching uppipe. The uppipe will be offered in two flavors. A twin scroll for all you folks tinkering with JDM conversions and to support our own secret squirrel project, and a single scroll for plug and play fitment to US spec STi's or WRX's. The single scroll uppipe is being worked on right now but I thought I'd drop the first pics of what will be coming down the road before the summer it out. As with the existing MadDad(TM) Velocity unequal length header the quality and construction is unmatched. No retail has been set yet but I can ensure everyone it will be a better overall value than anything currently offered. A prefitted EGT bung will also be incorporated in the manifold on the final release.

Fitment for the Sti? Your Velocity unequal length header requires cutting of the subframe which is a big turn off for Sti owners....

Looks nice. For WRX users we would need larger injectors, oil pan, twinscroll turbo and downpipe to make it work.

Kewl! Does this header mount the turbo in the standard location (with inlet under intake manifold) or is it a rotated mount?

Any chance of getting a downpipe that fits a twin-scroll, to go with the header?

I am interested, provided that I do not have to cut the subframe.

I was about to try to fab something like this up for my project, JDM twin-scroll headers into a single up-pipe, now I'll just wait for these, subscribed! :D

got tired of waiting and just bought the perrin ones, I like the fact the combine the secondaries before the up-pipe, less piping and you can use any up-pipe with it:)
