when i change my utec map switch to 0 which is stock i am seeing about 18psi of boost. does anyone have any ideas on why the boost is so high.

IIRC the stock UTEC configuration uses that ABC unit to help allow the UTEC to better control boost. When you switch back to stock the UTEC is no longer controlling boost yet the ABS is still in place and the ecu has no idea… $.02 living4surf 06-10-2006, 11:48 AM ^^^that is what i was thinking but before i ever installed the utec and ABC i was seeing just over 17psi with just the turboxs TBE Right now i have the TBE, Up pipe hippy 06-10-2006, 04:43 PM Maybe the brass restrictor is gettin dirty? living4surf 06-11-2006, 12:10 AM i forgot to add that io bought the car used a couple of years ago so i dont really know what was done to it before i got it. well it isnt really causing problems since i dont really put it on the stock map so i am just going to ignore it like i have been doing. |
