Well, I was doing some afterschool stuff to finish up my school year, and I walk out to my car and my passenger side is egged. I'm guessing about 2 or 3 eggs thrown at it. and seems like only my car. :mad: It's all over the doors mainly. I was pretty upset about, and I still am. But, I got to stay cool about it I guess. It was pretty difficult to clean the yolk but I got most of it off just smells and is sticky.. Should I just wash my car to get it fully taken off or use something to clean it up better?

get it taken care of asap before it can harm the paint.

and then find out who did it and pelt them with rotten eggs.

So just give it a good wash and it'll be set?

Pressure washer should take most of it off. Then, your favorite soap and water if there's anything left. :)

Just got really well on it with a wash. I would personally hand wash it with those soft mitts that are like sponges and really clean the area good. Like Mavrik said make sure it is cleaned very well so that your paint does not face any harm. What school were you at? UAA? It didn't get hit so hard that any dents or damage was caused did it?

Look very closely at the surface of your paint once the egg is off -you'll see little concentric circle scratches that were left by the eggshell as it broke.

If they're not too bad they can be buffed out with a decent polish. Do this before you put any high pressure water to it -you might chip off even more paint.

Same thing happend to my car a couple of years ago -I nearly had a stroke when I saw it.

Yea, I checked the areas that were hit. Doesn't seem there is any dents or damage but just smells, and some marks. But, nothing to intense. But, It was at Service High. Still a youngin'.

Get a car wash brush. Even less surface debris geting rubbed across. I love mine.

Dude, mine got egged also, I was parked next to you too. I got mine off by scrubbing it off with water and carwash soap, then washed the car also. Man..what a way to start off the summer..to clean off some eggs.. =\ It was just our cars too..I didn't see any other cars got egged..we probably got some Subie haters at school.. :mad:

Hah, yea it is quite pricey but, I love it and I thank my parents for giving me the opportunity even though I know I'm to young for one. It's chaotic so I might sell it to lower things up but I'll see what my parents say it's up to them really. Yea I think it was a last day prank. Yea Shawn, my firend with his hatchback got egged also. So, I'm mostly guessing it was a prank. But, gave it an ok wash already so its good..

I do not live in southport but pretty near ya mike. I mean I hear your wrx sti alot driving down 100th. Now that its summer vacation for high school students theirs going to be alot of f**s around doing stupid things.

Yesterday I had these middle school kids hanging around the woods thats behind my house. They went and decided to light a tree stump on fire which was like 3 feet in height. I was in my room and heard kids but I thought they were just hanging out. Went outside to bring in the trash cans, and I smelt smoke, not a BBQ smell but something on fire smell. Ran to my window in my room and sure enough they had a fire going. Told me folks and my mom ran out their on one side, they tried running and me and my step dad came out the backyard fense and cut them off. Folks bitched them out cause its dry this season and they could of lite our house on fire. So mom called the police to file a report, they were the same kids that were lighting fireworks in the woods also. They left by the time the cops came. Kids are so damn stupid, I swear. No brains to realize that a fire can spread. As if it's not in the news enough about wildfires.

Haha, man some people are going to get messed up tonight. Well again I was at a friends house and same like mike I was egged once again. This time on the rear bumper, right tailight, and my bbs. It's a pain to keep cleaning the car after this. Seriously, it's just not cool.
