Im stuck in a situation and i need to know an answer real quick.

Im doing a jdm sti ver 7 swap. I have the entire ver 7 front clip and rear end.

people have been telling me that the jdm crossmember doesn't fit...but it looks identical. So i went along and ordered a USDM one from subaru.

I have the crossmember from the sti. Will it work for me? Or do I have to pick up an USDM crossmember?

Please help as the USDM one is on its away, and will be a waste if i dont need it.

I used a v7 crossmember in my car, so I don't see why it wouldn't fit into your car.

I believe they are the same.

careful because you need to know how your steering rack mounts, 02-03 have the same cross member, 04 plus use a different cross member, you need to find out if your steering rack in 100% round or if the mounting points are square
