Well, It was my fault so I can't bitch too much, but since ICBC has decided that my insurance will go up by 1700$ a year if I claim it I am going to try and fix it myself...then take what I can't fix to a body shop.
Need a trunk, with or without wing WRX or RS(Im not really worried about the 10lbs saved with the aluminum trunk but I am worried about price)
Stock rear bumper, or aftermarker rear bumper.
I would prefer unpainted or....I know this is going to be wishful thinking....painted in sedona red pearl.
PM me with what you have and the prices.
Thank you.

you can get some pretty reasonable prices for oem parts from here:
https://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getLocator&siteid=214128&chapter=ARL7591&appSectionid=2836&make=32&model=Impreza&year=2002&catalogid=2
it might just be helpful to call them during business hours and see if you can get a deal for getting more parts or something
or maybe try your luck at some salvage/junk yards.. saltair always has an interesting selection...

Hey Malcolm, if you need a good body shop in Langley head over to willowbrook collision. Ask for Wally and tell him I sent you and he'll take great care of you.
that's too bad Malcolm, but don't beat yourself up too much about it. Isht happens.
with the low US dollar, check out subarugenuineparts.com
Subiegal is great to deal with, and the parts are a lot cheaper than our rapership parts dep'ts.
Good luck mang.

^yeah the link I gave above goes directly to the oem parts page for the 02 wrx, I just ordered a couple things from them on thursday and they arrived today :D (a front O2 sensor I ordered from there was $145 dollars compared to $475 they were asking at dealerships here... not bad ;) )
^
You're just better at the internet than I am.
:D

Thanks guys! Im just wondering how much of a savings I will get since the items that I want are huge and probably will cost an arm and a leg for shipping.
I will give them a call tomorow.
Looks like my trunk lid is fixable...will need a new bumper for sure and I need a new rear trunk floor section because of the way it bent.
Im still looking for stock or aftermarket rear bumper cover in any color.
Thanks,
Malcolm

Hey guys,
Looks like I am going to pick up everything from subarugenuineparts...even though shipping is going to be 100USD it still works out at significantly cheaper. I just hope I don't get hosed too bad on brokerage...anything 100USD and under will still net me a decent deal as from Subaru the parts would be around 800 plus tax and from sgp around 320USD before shipping brokerage and duty.
Thanks for the input!
