I went to NHTSA website to see how many people have file complaint against wheel bearing problem on our imprezas and there are only few cases on this subject were listed. I think that we all impreza's owners should contact NHTSA so that they have enough info to issue a recall on all impreza. The info is listed below.

Call the Auto Safety Hotline toll free at 1-888-DASH-2-DOT to report safety defects or to obtain information on cars, trucks, child seats, highway or traffic safety.

I want to hear this from all of you.

Thanks

What's up with the bearings?

Is it a safety issue?

Have people died or become seriously hurt due to their failure?

i-club members alone have encountered countless number of wheel bearing failure repair after repair after repair. When I went to the government website, there is one encounter that scared me the most was when it fail on the high way causing heavy vibration and the vehicle became unsafe to oporate forcing the driver to pull over.

Thanks

Like the Government will ever be any help... remember it only took 15 years for NHTSA to catch up to Ford and Firestone...

"Thank You for calling 1-800-GET-OSAMA. We're sorry no one can answer your call since all of us are currently busy bombing the life out of another (already dead) country. Please leave your name and number and a short message and we will get back to you as soon as we run out of cruise missles."
