Ok, just got my card in the mail today, $1500 limit and 12.9% APR. It has a Forester on it, I was hoping for an Outback or WRX.

Anyway, I can't find anything that tells me where to go to manage the account online. I've tried MBNA's site and they say it isn't a valid MBNA account number. Already did a search here, didn't find the info I was looking for.

Anyone with a Subie MC care to help me out?

Worked now! I guess they just weren't expecting someone to get online and check their account within 5 minutes of opening the letter.

request a new card, marc; I had a choice of 4 different cards, I think.maybe only 3, but there was a forester, a GC8 and a BH OB (it's newer, and it's white, but who cares) that I remember. I got the OB........

What does GC8 stand for? I'm assuming OB stands for Outback. I got my Subaru MBNA MC but it was the platinum card so I just got the Subaru logo on a white background.

Nah, I'm not going to make them waste money on postage/printing. The Forester looks cool enough, plus it isn't like I'm mounting the card on the mantle. It's in my wallet, which I'm usually sitting on!

The interest rate could be lower on this card, but they are the only people who would give me more than a $200 limit. I have perfect credit rating... just not enough of it.

I just called to switch my existing MBNA account to an SoA; she ran down a list of choices for the card pretty quickly, I think it went - SoA logo, Forester, GC8, Impreza, Outback, WRC. Sounded like 6 options, maybe 7. I got the WRC :)

Now I can start earning points for that WRX...

I got to choose the picture on my card. I got the MY00-01 RS in blue on my card, I was going to get the Platinum but it's just got the logo on it. I've been using it like mad. I'm going to use it to buy a shortshifter for my car. I got a $15,000 limit on mine! WooHoo!

I went to renew my card early to switch the picture and they switched me to the Platinum card, with a picture of the blue 99-01 Impreza coupe.

Just a note on the CG8 thing. My 01 sedan VIN says it's a GC6. :p

Any of you guys students? Back when I was a student I got a card from Citibank. The rate was fairly high, but they gave me $1,000 when I had virtually no income. Maybe you chould give them a try

I had an impecable credit rating when I was 19...Applied for
a card and they gave me a $5,000 limit. Oh did I ever use it.
Luckily I rarely use credit cards anymore and my credit rating
is back up there again. If I don't have the cash then I don't
get it. (Unless I really want it like the WRX, heh)
