i dunno but i doubt that the RX-7 and Supra would make as good autocross cars as the 2.5. maybe the RX-7 since it's realativly light, but it's still RWD so it'd get a little hairy in the turns. but in a straight line, the 2.5 will get smoked like a philly blunt :lol:

thanks man... for those who are wondering why I am asking this. By next June, I am hoping to get rid of my MY01 auto and get a standard. I most leaning more towards MY01 5-spd and 93 RX-7 5-spd. I've seen few rx-7 on autox and they are pretty darn good. As for the supra, I just like the look and power. :D I figure I start doing the research now and by the time June comes around I should be pretty knowledgable on the car.

it's a hard one for me. I always wanted a rx-7, but I love my awd. :( People, convience me which is better. Maybe this is a bad place to ask, but please respond as a car guy not a subie guy :D.

I guess when it comes to spec it's clear but I am more curious about personal experience with these cars. Thanks!

As a car guy, I'd still buy the RS.... I've seen some 3rd gen RX-7's in action at local autocrosses, and they're impressive. very fast. My brother and I joked about how cones wouldn't get hit, just sucked off the pavement into the intake.:) And Supra? kinda heavy for that, I think, though still a nice driver. Buy the RS and enjoy yourself during the two times a year it rains in Cali:)
