nhluhr 10-17-2001, 10:27 AM no, this does not happen. Your computer is trying to tell you it has a fever.
jk147 10-17-2001, 11:07 AM oh no your computer is infected by anthrax!
just kidding. Go to www.microsoft.com/ie and update your internet explorer to 5.5 service pack 2.
e_a_olson 10-17-2001, 11:37 AM You probably have some poorly written software on your machine, i.e. AOLIM.
ChrisW 10-17-2001, 01:19 PM I have had the same problem with IE6, but only when scrolling the page with a wheel mouse.
It only happens on one machine, and only i-club

daverup 10-17-2001, 02:33 PM Try another web browser, there are others out there.
travman733 10-17-2001, 03:14 PM I've tried 5.0, 5.01 w/sp2, 5.5, 5.5 w/sp1...no probs here...even tried the new version of Opera with no problems.
SoobATV 10-17-2001, 03:31 PM I have the quick fix for this...
step 1: firmly grasp hatchet within hand
step 2: bury hatchet in machine, taking care not to lop off fingers/appendages
step 3: repeat step 2, twice
step 4: buy a Dell, or build a new machine
I may come close to implementing this quick fix theory on both my PCs today:)
flipguy80 10-17-2001, 05:14 PM Mine did that to me last night when iw as running IE6 I used the scroll wheel and that crashed it. I just restarted and it was fine.
andywrx 10-17-2001, 05:41 PM Use Netscape!!

beethoven 10-17-2001, 05:53 PM It was common on older browsers (nutscrap included) to get a corrupt file in the cache. Try clearing out your IE cache. :)

so are you saying that you actually read other web pages besides i-club? I wouldn't know about that ;)
Hehe seriously, that's not normal. Do an update or try another browser.
