Hey fellow i-club members,
Well my 5 week old wrx just got backed up into by some freaking moron...u can imagine my pain and anguish

The damage isnt that bad b/c she hit the rear passenger side tire pretty hard. The rear fender is a bit off of the rest of the body and there are some scratches...however, is there anything else i should check up on like the axle or something within because the tire recieved the majority of the impact...any help would be appreciated

Have the dealer check it out.
does it shudder at higher speeds? the rim might be bent

If the wheel took a a lateral shot, make sure that the wheel bearings aren't cooked!

Make sure you're not leaking any fluids. Probably good to get an alignment now.

have your rear suspension fully inspected...

any and / or everything could be bent, tweeked, yet not visibly noticible...

take it to a dealer or reputable suspension place... let them handle it.

cars aren't built to take that kinda hit as well as a frontal or rear hit. I bent an axle shaft and a rim on a previous truck when I took a weird hit once. luckily, the tire should've absorbed a lot of the hit. The sidewall would've flexed. I'd still let someone look at it all though...

imma make an appointment with the dealer and make sure everything is back to brand spankin NEW!

Also have the car on a chassis aligment rack and make sure chassis is not bended.

Yeah make sure you bring it in. I once had someone make a "little" hit on my car and then decided it probably didn't need attention. Was I wrong!
