Jonnyfilmboy 06-25-2006, 05:33 PM FYI, there's a difference between the 04 and 05. 04 goes into an 04 plug and play. 05 does not easily go into non-05 years. Different plugs I've heard. Are you going to own up to the added mileage to potential car buyers when you swap back in your lower mileage WRX cluster? I'm having subaru match the mileage with whatever cluster i have put in (i don't have my original cluster...i blew it when i tried to change the bulbs to red - i didn't disconnect the neg. battery terminal, and fried the circuit board when i plugged it back in). Not exactly sure what year the cluster is, but it does plug right in to my 02, so from your description that would make it an 04 cluster. I have a 06 WRX & it seems that after the mod for lights, my Speedometer & RPM readings arent correct...that & they move slow & seem in-accurate. Also wondering if anyone knows the pricing for new one? 2nd thought would be swapping the cluster to a STI.. will it fit right? Just has to be the same year 06 right? will 05 work? Thanks for the help.. I'ma needa big lift of help on this situation. :confused: |
