Out of my car as of last weekend; a 1998 Impreza L with 82491 miles when everything came out. The head unit and speakers have been in for a little less than 10k or so.

-Alpine CDA 9831 Head unit with Subaru wiring harness. All is in great condition. 18 Watts RMSx4, Single disc, plays MP3s, WMAs, and CDRs, bass boost, programmable eq, multicolor illumination, 3 preamp outputs with sub control,is XM satellite ready, AiNet and looks damn good when all lit up. I don't remember every exact feature of this but I can sift through the owner's manual to find certain things if you like. Includes box and packaging with owners manual, remote control w/batteries (never used the remote) and the face plate storage case. SOLD

-Driver's side steering wheel w/airbag. It's the all black leather wrapped, no red stitching like the RS wheel. $40

-Passenger side air bag w/dash cover $40 no scratches or scuff marks, wiring plug in tact.

-A/C compressor w/mounting bracket, evaporator, the hard line piping from the condenser to the drier, and the drier canister itself. . All of course in working order.

I'll take pictures of the AC stuff as requested. Make me offers for the AC parts. I just want all of these things out of the garage and don't want to just throw it all away.

These are great speakers, and a nice price. Have the same ones installed in my 92x, and the tweeters mount up easy, the woofers need spacers to fit though. I have pictures of them installed with door card off if anyone wants to see fit.

all PM's have been answered. i don't get home from work until evening time so if i'm taking longer to respond than expected that's why.

for everyone who needs to know, i had the speakers in the front for some time. this was a while ago and not for too much time. i had the speaker in the stock location, don't remember what i used for spacing or even if i used anything. i didn't buy anything extra so i think i just used what was on the stock speaker and what came with the infinitys. the tweeter was where the oem tweeter goes if you have one (in the little grille next to the door handle).

i then moved everything to the rear, i only had this one pair. they sounded much clearer and tones were much more pronounced being further away from my ears but on the same plane.

Very interested in the AC condenser if its the model i need (need one for a '00 RS)
Can you shoot me some pics at caine@srv.net? Where at in MT? (I'm just below you in Southeast Idaho) Does that condenser have a part number on it anywhere? And you said everything worked awesoem prior to the uninstall?

And just to add to the speaker comments:
Awesome speakers for the price range. Use them in my mr2 turbo (the only car i still own with a fairly high-end system. after that install i stopped caring so much about stereos) I used them to replace some High-end Alpine components that blew after about 1.5yrs. Much happier now.

alpine head unit ipod capable?

it has the Ai-NET plug, and you'll find alpine ainet/ipod cables on ebay. so yes, it will take an ipod or aux device, but through the ainet. i've never used it that way, i just played mp3 cds.
