I'm leaning toward the Silver WRX baby, and I need racks. One for bikes and one for skis/boards. (I had a 1988 honda accord hatchback before. Didn't care if it got dirty and plenty of room, so no need for rack) So what about the OEM racks for the wagon? Are they secure? Do they get the job done. I was thinking about getting yakima, but I can just finance the OEM racks, no out of pocket. Are aftermarket racks going to be that much better?

I believe the OEM rack is made by Yakima... might want to check and make sure though...

i know the cross bar kit can support 100 lbs...but i still have yet to use mine

I have the OEM ski rack for my Rex wagon and they are indeed Yakima (at least they say Yakima on them).
