the disigner was playing with that triangle templet thingy. trying to figure out how many triangles you need to make a fuglyass car.

AHA! We now know what happened to all the Aztec designers that were fired at GM!

I next predict the Chevrolet Cavalier STi-Z (it has to have a 'Z' to be GM). It will be tastefully equipped with obnoxious graphics, a non-functional hood scoop, stick-on duct work, and a second non-functioning exhaust tip. GM didn't buy 20% of Subaru for nothing!

This thing looks like a cross between an Aztec and a Mercury Cougar. I hope Subaru checks out the sales figures for those lines before they bless the prototype to production process.

Didn't they learn anything from the "lets make our car happy looking like a ... a Neon, Yea!" experience.

At least it will be easy to render in 3D.

Yeah I'm going to have to say the use of that many triangles on a car is bad. What's next, the parallelogram-mobile? How bout some octagons next time? The fact that the car was designed is bad enough, but the fact that enough people thought the design was good enough to build a car is scary.

I think someone didn't put a lot of work into the car. Hopefully it never makes it to the show room. :lol:

i think that mazda is kinda cool. it would look better if the simle portion in the middle was just a big rectangle like our cars or like the skyline. or actually what would look better is if it was more like an AC Cobra.

The worst part about this is that if you read the post about the tokyo show the guy mentions that this car is going to be what the next generation Legacy will be based on.... if that is true that is just disgusting. I will cerntainly not buy another Legacy

I kind of like it. It sort of looks like a future Impreza. They can do away with the triangles in the interior and the cheap looking wheel covers.

Hey, does anyone know, on a right hand drive are the shift gates in the same position? ie first on left and 5th on right, or is that reversed as well? I would assume it would be the same, so I am sure this is a stupid question. I mean

Right hand drive still has the same tranny, so it's the same as we've got.

That is Km/H, too. Now I truly don't know what that car is for. That's about 10 below Bay Area freeway spedds, or 25 below Denver :)

That car is pathetic. Hopefully they don't come to N.A. However if you look at all concept cars they are very angular because they're designed on computer.

To go with the RHD shift pattern, the pedals are in the exact same place as well. And the Legacy B4 was not designed or styled by porsche, all they did was tune the suspension!
