topcover 10-17-2001, 06:29 PM This is one of the finest vendors I've had the pleasure of dealing with and that includes companies not related to cars!
The technical staff was informative and provided easy to understand and concise information regarding their products. Customer support was equally friendly efficient.
Ordered three gauges from them and opted for the least expensive mail option and the first items arrived to my office within two business days! Items that came cross country arrived three days later. Granted they had little to do with the actual shipment, but the short time meant they jumped all over my order!
Kudos to everyone at Summit Racing! You have a customer for life!
:D
bbrewer 10-19-2001, 01:10 PM My wife worked there several years ago. Great people.
jblaine 10-19-2001, 05:47 PM Do they have a website? Phone number? Etc?
mitch808 10-19-2001, 05:49 PM www.summitracing.com
jblaine 10-19-2001, 05:56 PM Daaaahhh
*drools and eats some dirt*
But of course. Sorry for not at least trying that before posting. Is it the weekend yet?
In2Deep 10-19-2001, 05:58 PM Summit is awesome. You can pick up a catalog and order virtually anything you need for a super fast domestic ride. Hell, you can pick up a ready to bolt in 750hp engine right out of their catalog!
spshultz 10-20-2001, 06:38 PM I have been dealing with Summit Racing for years and have ordered thousands upon thousands of dollars of parts and have never had a misshipment, double credit charge, or any kind of problem with them. I even returned a part 1 day after their dead line and they still credited me my money back within a day or two.
They are awesome! If they only had a Subaru/Import section. *sigh*
ChaosThom 10-25-2001, 11:11 AM I've ordered a lot of parts from them and have always had perfect service. When I ordered "special order" parts, they always made sure I knew how long it would take to get them.
bottlefedwrx 10-31-2001, 08:41 PM I ordered my 2 nitrous kits from them, and they were at my door the next day, I didnt even pay for shipping.. they took car of it because of the price. Plus the kits were 100 dollars less then the ZEX website.
Seriously they are dope
tmarcel 11-01-2001, 07:58 PM I've ordered Total Seal piston rings, AutoMeter gauges, and most recently a set of springs. Each order was very easy to make with their assistance and customer friendly shipping.
As a matter of fact, they had to drop-ship the piston rings and then the springs. They had to call the manufacturers on both orders to resolve some conflicts on the actual part # specific applications and did so.
I'll be dealing with them whenever they've got what I need.
Rattler 11-06-2001, 12:13 AM Summit is great to deal with. I have ordered a bunch of stuff they don't list in their catalog. They have some of it in stock anyway. If I order before 4 PM I usually have it the next day.
I ordered a K&N filter for my WRX. The number I had didn't exactly match the one they had listed. The filter came the next day. It wasn't the right one. Sent it back no hassles what so ever.
LinuxGuy 02-08-2003, 12:27 PM All I got to say is, AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!
I ordered my boost/vacuum gauge on Thursday on ground shipping, today is Saturday and there was a package sitting in from of my house after the rep. told me it was suppost to come Monday or Tuesday of that next week!
Im happy!:D
vapore0n 02-08-2003, 09:02 PM I must say also, summit is the best. I had also ordered on two separate ocations some gauges, very fast responce and even on ground, package was here like in 4 days. Too bad they dont have too many parts for the wrx.
LinuxGuy 02-09-2003, 01:02 AM There picking up on the sport compact scene, they mainly just carry parts for Honda, Ford, and Mitsubishi. With there name, how they handle business, how fast they ship parts, and how they can get there prices so low, if they carried a full line of parts for Subarus, just imagine all the business they could get from the Subaru community. I would only go to them for parts and no one else.
jetfan8178 02-09-2003, 10:43 PM They better be good. They are huge.
Great place for partys in a rush, but not much variety.
I personally think they deal in too much cheapo parts.
APC, pacesetter etc...
But definitly good service.
(my el camino is a summit racing whore):p
whittleman 11-20-2003, 12:43 PM Another good one for Summit. I'm in Ohio, so I got my stuff the next day.
Snitt 11-23-2003, 02:47 PM I'm 20 minutes from the one in Tallmadge. I go up there for all my synthetic fluids, and I'll probably get my gauges from them, too. All the people in the store are friendly and know their stuff, and I assume the people with the website are the same way.
Oh yeah, they have rows of manufacturers' catalogs, so odds are, they can get you something that they don't list in their own catalog. :D
Recently received 3 orders from Summit Racing.
-Good prices
-Fast service
-Good stock
I actually need to return a gauge so I will test out their return policy soon.
However, so far so good! I plan to give them more business soon.
PS. Good price on RedLine oil and Autometer stuff.
