yup...the ground wire on the aftermarket piaa superwhites in the fog lamp worked its way loose some how and caused it to go up in smoke while i was driving on the interstate. luckily i put it out before it got out of hand. I was able to cut and splice and fix it that way. it's done right though and i fixed that pesky loose wire too!

I thought that if a ground wire wasn't connected, that the light would just go out. Good thing you're damage was limited.
