Hi i am new to this forum. I was wondering i have an 04 impreza ts. My friend is upgrading his 06 wrx and is willing to give me his turbo setup. Does anyone have any info on this . Is this a difficult swap and what other parts or other thing would i need to to get or consider if i plan on doing this swap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Whoa now you have a lot to learn. There is SOOO much more than just the turbo you need.

Basically.
Engine Crossmember
Exhaust Manifold
Up/downpipe
Larger Injectors
Fuel Pump
Piggyback or Standalone or turbo ECU to control fuel/timing
Intake pipe
Blow off Valve

And even an experienced tech would take all day doing this. There is a little variation that you can do, and perhaps use the stock manifold and make up custom up/downpipes but that is a good amount of fabrication.
