Yes, these are new Japanese Domestic Market Subaru's. There's a post in the General Forum. The Sport-shifter has been available in Japan for a few years now. :)

I think that is a bodykit for a Euro/J-Spec/Aus 2001. Could be wrong though

I don't think it's that bad. HID's, clear marker lights, exhaust, STI gauges, Momo style wheels... I could live with it.

There are bits that I like, and bits that I suddenly REALLY like about my own WRX (US).

I really like:
the wheels

I kinda like:
the rear spoiler

I could go either way on:
the chin

Things I REALLY appreciate on my own WRX:
The side mirror attachments and side sills are black.
That thing looks goofy with those items body color.

It's a little hard to tell from the pictures, but are those front seats different?

I think that is an exceptionally good looking wagon

the front reminds me of my friends 2001 GTI only i don't think the subaru is as good looking. still some cool elements there though.

This is a Subaru concept car, called the "Type Euro," that was unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Show last week. There is only one. It is not a production vehicle.

I like the looks a lot, especially the 1-piece bumper/grille combo. Not wild about the wheels, however.
