View Full Version : VIP Garage Introduction
VIPGarage 07-13-2006, 03:58 PM Hello Everyone!
My name is Martin Ruiz. I am one of the owners of VIP Garage located at
45763 Elmwood Ct. Unit 140
Sterling, VA 20166
We are new to NASIOC but no where close to new in the Subaru platform. We recently became sponsors of NASIOC so we can play more active role in the Subie community and we want to become supportive members of the community.
We have vast hands-on experience with the WRX/STI platform. We have done engine builds, drive train services and very high end turbo systems and even prepped some track cars with purpose built suspension systems.
I don't want to become one of the typical folks who talks a lot and never delivers. We work very hard to maintain our good name and do everything in our power to make sure our customers are always satisfied.
We offer a very wide variety of in house services for your Subaru including in house tire mounting and balancing. We are also direct distributors for many of the highest quality names in the business so we can provide all the parts you would need for your build. We have installed, tested and configured just about everything out there so we know what works and what doesn't so our experience will make sure the job is done right.
Not sure what else to say right now, i am working on getting some pictures up so you guys can see a little more what we are about but in the mean time please feel free to ask any questions.
Our web address is www.vipgarageonline.com and will be up and running shortly.
Thank you all for your time and we look forward to moving forward and growing with NASIOC.
Martin Ruiz

mav1c 07-14-2006, 02:48 PM Welcome. Nice to have another shop to consider for work in the area.
Two things are come up a lot are tire mounting and alignments. How much do you charge to mount tires, and if you do alignments, what do you normally charge?
VIPGarage 07-14-2006, 03:47 PM We actually don't do alignments in house but we have an awesome shop next door that does them for us. We charge $20 a wheel/tire for mounting and we have lots of experience with all kinds of wheels and tires so no worries.

Is that $20/wheel regardless of size & types of wheels & tires?
Will said awesome shop do alignments to customer requested specs? Will they have any issues with lowered vehicles?
VIPGarage 07-17-2006, 10:36 AM damn Mondays. d'oh
imprezdgc8 07-17-2006, 10:45 AM Hey Marti Good to see you here.
Marti and the guys at VIP have been good friends of mine ever since I met them. They have sponsored my car for a little over a year now and have always been there to help me out when I break stuff.
I have a JDM GC8 swap and they've helped me swap trannies, clutch, get an exhaust, perform routine maintnence, troubleshoot etc. These guys know their turbo awd cars and have tons of connections and knowledge to help you get the best deal on the best set up for your car.
Beyond the ability to do work, however, I like most how they stand behind their work. They do the job right from the start, and any issues that may arise are always handled fairly and promptly.
Glad to see you on the boards guys, i'll probably see you today at lunch haha.

What he said.
VIPGarage 07-17-2006, 01:48 PM not at all. They did an alignment for us on our VIP Q45 without issue. $20 is the price unless it's a 19+ wheel/tire and less than 35 series.

nice! thats not bad at all really.
do you all charge to dismount tires? like swapping summer/winter tires?
VIPGarage 07-17-2006, 04:25 PM if we are taking wheels off to mount new tires it is the same $20. Is that what you are asking?
