Helllo all,

I have available a set of 18" Volk CE28 Replicas with some damage on 2 wheels but I am selling the set at $325. as-is.

Wheel #1 and #2 are in great used condition with no issues.
Wheel #3 has a bent lip on the face of the wheel as pictured.
Wheel #4 has a small crack on the inside lip of the wheel as pictured.

A good place to have the wheels repaired at a good rate is:
http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111794

Bolt patterns are 5x100 and 5x112. I am located in NYC

Please PM or email if you are any other questions.

Thanks!

Isn't a new set cost around $400? That's a little high for 2 damage rim. How low can you go?

I dont believe you can purchase a new set in 18" for $400. But make an offer and I will consider it.

Thx

2nd that about price to high. I was looking for a second set of 18's but would rather do rota's from subydude for that price not to mention bent rims. Where did you go off road?

Well, I am also taking offers. I never used the wheels, so I honestly can't tell you how/where the previous owner drover his WRX.

Yea they are excellent replicas. Almost identical to the CE28s. I am not sure what brand they are. There is no markings or stamps on them. Maybe they are "Folks" aka Fake Volks.

Usually cost $100- $150 to fix a rim.

I am too busy and it would take too much effort on my part to have them sent out to Cali since I am in NYC for repair. The best place for the most reasonable price I have heard is:

Advanced Wheel Repair
1420 Burton Pl.
Anaheim, Ca 92806

I would rather just sell it as-is and ship once.

Find out the brand.

I will try to look again, but all it says is Design Japan. I believe there is only 1 very good replica which looks just about identical in pattern and style to the Volk CE28s and this is it. But I will double check the wheels tonight for any indication of brand.

That cracked one scares me, don't think I could use it and not worry the whole time. 18 x ? by the way, weight?

Scoobie Power
08-21-2006, 11:35 PM
The exact size is 18" x 7.5", not sure on weight but it is pretty light...I would say well under 20lbs. As far as brand there is no stamp or markings indicating a brand. On the wheel the only identifiers are "Design Japan", "Monoblock", and "Ultra Light".

You didn't buy them originally, who did, could you ask them if they knew? I'd just like to know the name so I could buy a set.

Offset?

*WARNING* The Cracked RIM is garbage. I cracked a rim once and sent it to get it fixed. Cost me ~$100.00, and 6 months later cracked again two inches from where it cracked before. If you roll with a damaged rim it's never the same again. You could risk causing an accident if you the rim cracks again and causes you to have a blow out on the highway. MY.02

I will have to see if there are any offsets indicated on the wheels.

why even sell a cracked rim?

its like selling someone a car with no lugnuts. NOT safe.
