hmm, searched but couldn't find this. whats top speed of the rex stock and w/ basic mods ( unichip, exhaust, intake )??? i think i remember someone said what the gearing would take it to (169) but it shouldn't hit that stock.

Stock I have heard of people going as fast as 135mph w/ a stick. I got mine going 120mph this weekend the chickened out and let off the gas.:eek:

everytime i get a chance i open mine up all the way and i get it around 130 mabey 135 but that would kinda be pushing it

i had my rex, stock except for K+N filter and silencer mod, up to 139-140mph. It wouldnt go any faster than that. it was about 75 degrees out. how I didn't get a ticket...I dont know

Various car magazines have found the top speed in the stock car to to be about 140-143MPH. I have a K&N filter and cat-back exhaust, and have reached 138 on the speedo and the car was still accelerating, though slowly, before I had to slow down. So, those numbers are totally plausible. But it is really hard to safely find the top speed, in my opinion. Even at Watkins Glen, which is one of the fastest road course, I could only hit 115 at the back straight. Really need an oval to find the top speed safely.

The was a lane closed on the turnpike here in FL and it seemed like every trooper in the state was at the construction site. After I passed it, I was the lone car on the road. I hit a 137-139 MPH before encountering other cars. My WRX is completely stock.

I had mine down to the bottom of the h in miles per hour. I'm assuming it was around 145 or so. Mine is stock except for silencer mod, K&N air filter and 3a racing muffler. The only problem I had was that the windows started to suck outward and let air in the cabin, kinda scary at that speed. I was waiting for the windows to rip out.

any comments from any wagons?
